Debating

Stage 3 students shine in our debating teams, where they hone critical thinking, public speaking, and collaboration skills through the 2025 Premiers’ Debating Challenge. From Year 6’s All Stars to Year 5’s Rising Stars, our debaters approach every challenge with enthusiasm and respect. The program empowers students to communicate clearly, listen actively, and build confidence that will benefit them well beyond the debating stage.

Performing Arts

Performing arts and dance are vibrant parts of school life, offering students the chance to express themselves creatively and perform with confidence. From energetic hip hop sessions for our younger dancers to sophisticated jazz and contemporary performances for seniors, every routine highlights dedication, teamwork, and joyful movement. With opportunities to participate in special community shows and rehearsals, our talented performers continually broaden their artistic horizons and captivate audiences with their energy and flair.

Students perform on stage in vibrant costumes under colourful lighting, involved in various dance routines. The collage captures solo, small group, and ensemble performances with expressive movements and a range of styles, including contemporary and hip hop. Their energetic poses and coordinated outfits showcase creative expression and the school’s lively arts program.

Garden Club

Our Garden Club invites students to get hands-on with nature and each other in a fun, collaborative environment. Meeting every Friday at lunch, members plant seeds, nurture vegetable beds with rich compost from fruit scraps, and watch their garden flourish through the seasons. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn about sustainability, teamwork, and the joy of growing fresh food together. It’s a wonderful way for students to connect with the environment and contribute to our school’s vibrant green space.

Children dressed in school uniforms and hats engage in outdoor learning and sustainability activities, such as gardening, examining plants, and using compost bins. Some are seen closely inspecting leaves and produce, while others dig in soil and manage food scraps for compost. These images emphasize hands-on environmental education and teamwork in the school garden.

School Band

The GEPS School Band offers students a welcoming and inspiring space to develop their musical talents. Under the guidance of skilled music teachers, band members learn new instruments, refine rhythm and melody, and experience the joy of performing together. Whether just starting out or continuing a musical journey, students gain confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music while sharing memorable performances at school and community events.

Students in green checkered uniforms and a teacher participate in a music ensemble on stage, playing wind instruments such as flutes and clarinets. The conductor guides the group as they rehearse or perform in a school hall, with music stands and scores set out in front of each player. This scene demonstrates musical learning, collaboration, and performance in the school community.
