Open classroom visits
The Kinder team open their classrooms for families to experience a live English session. Our pre-kinder students can join in or engage in other activities for the morning in the Kinder rooms. We enjoy a morning tea with our principal, assistant principal, families and preschool students at the conclusion of the session.
Pre-kinder students are feeling comfortable in our classrooms, with their parents or carers nearby or joining in.
Learning to engage in our play-based learning literacy sessions with our current Kinder students.
Having Mum or Dad nearby help to build confidence in the classroom and activities. Parents also develop friendships.
Engaging in fine-motor partner activities with Mum close by is a positive, gentle transition to big school.
